Ex Mythology to zapis ze spotkania Kasi Wypchło (so:miya) i Andrzeja Frankowskiego (Ivan Bayor). Nacechowany wpływami kultury słowiańskiej, wypełniony brzmieniami analogowych syntezatorów i akustycznych instrumentów, zamknięty w klubową stylistykę zabierze Cię w świat zmysłowości i transu.

"Dzięki mitologii słowiańskiej chcieliśmy poznać nasze kulturowe dziedzictwo, a odkryliśmy samych siebie - miłość, to czego się boimy, kim jesteśmy, w co wierzymy.

Mitologia opisując w sposób metaforyczny rzeczy i zjawiska, których nie da się na pierwszy rzut oka pojąć, pomogła nam odszukać w sobie słowa i melodie obrazujące stan naszego nie lekkiego uczucia.

Ten świat klubowej zmysłowości i transu, który stworzyliśmy ułatwił nam zmierzenie się z rzeczywistością własną oraz tą która nas otacza, pozwalając jednocześnie zbudować nowe, a zrozumieć stare fundamenty."

Goddesses, ghosts and shadows of forgotten ancestors. The pursuit of understanding and finding yourself in a flash of hazy feelings that the language has forgotten. A tale of blossoming love and a broken promise.

Ex Mythology is a recording of a meeting between Kasia Wypchło (so: miya) and Andrzej Frankowski (Ivan Bayor). Influenced by the Slavic culture, filled with the sounds of analogue synthesizers and acoustic instruments, and encapsulated in a club-like style, it will transport you into a world of sensuality and entrancement.

“Thanks to Slavic mythology, we were inspired to get to know our cultural heritage, and in doing so, we discovered ourselves - love, fear, identity, and beliefs.

Mythology, describing symbolically things and phenomena that cannot be understood at first glance, helped us to find words and melodies that reflected the state of our laden relationship.

This world of club sensuality and trance that we have created has made it easier for us to face our own inner realities and the reality that surrounds us all, allowing us to build anew whilst respecting old foundations simultaneously.”
